Chainels is a fast-growing, dynamic organisation that operates on a B2B level, offering a Software-as-a-Service solution for everyone working and living in buildings. Chainels is a community platform. Our app consists of a web application as well as native apps for Android and iOS. Currently, we have tens of thousands active users across 16 countries. Major shopping centres, office buildings and residential buildings in Amsterdam, London, Istanbul and Malmö are using the app to transform their destinations into communities.

Our product development team consists of iOS developers, Android developers, frontend and backend developers, DevOps and a product designer.

Together we have designed and built many features to optimise daily workflows, including a message feed, surveys, data dashboards, financial overviews, issue reporting and a booking system.

Currently, we are looking to expand our team with a product manager.

What is your role?

As a Product Manager in Chainels, you will be:

  • The expert on the product and customer.
  • Clearly express the backlog items in user stories that are achievable.
  • Ensure the backlog is visible, clean, and clear for the whole team.
  • Order the backlog items to achieve the best goals.
  • Define product roadmap aligned to defined product vision and strategy based on needs of customers and users
  • Safeguard that developed features add value for our customers.
  • Identify and validate customer needs according to the needs of the business

Chainels’ perfect candidate has:

  • You have at least 3 years of experience as a Product Manager in a Scrum team developing software products, or in a similar role.
  • You have a passion for SaaS products and are familiar with SaaS-platform development.
  • You know how to prioritize and how to create value for users/customers, and you have a strong focus on their wishes and needs.
  • You are a strong communicator (in English) and know how to build a relationship with your development team and other stakeholders.
  • You are a continuous learner and are staying up to date with newest technologies

Bonus points for:

  • Development experience / Understanding of development concepts and logic.
  • Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) to deliver products / services
  • Familiarity with the real estate sector.
