Beginning in 2013 as a start-up with an idea, Chainels has since grown into a company offering an all-in-one solution to a diverse portfolio of national and international real estate clients.

Its namesake product, Chainels, is a tenant experience app available for iOS, Android and on the web.

It’s a platform that connects landlords and tenants, turning any multi-occupier building or district into a thriving community.

As Chainels expands its footprint in Europe, we are looking for a People & Culture Manager to complete our team.

Your impact

As the very first HR employee, you will be asked to set up processes and ways of working and ensure an excellent experience for the entire employee lifecycle. With your skills, experience and passion, you will significantly impact Chainels’ ambitious growth plan and the development of all team members. You will ensure the team spirit is high and that everyone feels included and heard in the organisation.

As Chainels’ People & Culture Manager, you will:

  • Establish & implement People Ops programs such as career paths, training programs, performance reviews, people analytics, compensation and benefits
  • Draw clear guidelines and processes for the People Ops programs
  • Manage the recruitment process, including helping hiring managers create job openings and conducting interviews
  • Take care of the onboarding process of new employees
  • Be the trusted go-to person for all questions & challenges of team members
  • Help managers successfully lead their teams and develop the team members
  • Assure a healthy and inclusive company culture where every employee feels valued and heard
  • Facilitate an inspiring work environment and organise fun and interesting team (building) activities.

About you…

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Deep knowledge of Dutch employment and social laws
  • Excellent problem-solving, project management, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch
  • Empathy, good energy and the desire to drive improvements and help others
  • Highly organised team player with a positive attitude and not afraid to step in and take ownership
