What is your impact?

The Netherlands is our biggest market, with a lot of key real estate market players, municipalities, business associations and residential estates already trusting our solution.

That’s why we are now looking to hire our new Business Development Representative. Someone who can grow our business by being a trusted expert and can sell based on value and customer need.This role requires a hands-on, getting-things-done mentality. You are performance-driven and take ownership of everything you do. You will be fully dedicated to the Dutch and Flemish speaking market.

As Chainels’ BDR, you will be part of the Business Team which consists of Sales, Marketing and Customer Success.


What are your responsibilities?

  • Conducting research into relevant parties in your market and determining the strategy together with the Account Executive.
  • Becoming THE expert in your territory understanding key players, opportunities, market trends, and challenges.
  • Actively developing and managing a pipeline of potential new clients in your region.
  • Generating new leads and managing incoming leads and developing them into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs).
  • Defining and executing on sales plans to meet (and hopefully exceed!) your role-based goals.
  • Giving product presentations and leading calls with prospect companies providing them a consultative approach
  • Representing Chainels at networking events, travel to trade conferences and events such as Provada.


What are your qualifications?

  • You have excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
  • You have at least 6 months work experience in a commercial position
  • You are willing to learn about sales processes and have a commercial mindset
  • You are passionate about networking and feel like a fish in water at an event
  • You have exceptional listening skills combined with the ability to synthesise information
  • You are confident, enthusiastic, energetic and a real go-getter
  • You have a strong desire of developing and growing your career in sales


It’s a bonus if you have:

  • Experience in SaaS
  • Experience in working with municipalities and government organisations and/or having a network in real estate.
  • A bachelor’s or higher degree
